In In Every Color, the artist performs a simple, absurd gesture: layering several sweaters, one over the other, then peeling them off in reverse. Captured in over seventy sequential photographs, the act becomes both comical and oddly sincere, hinting at rituals of accumulation and identity. The performance was inspired by a memory of shopping with her mother, who advised, “If you love it, buy it in every color.” The resulting work questioning the logic of desire, consumption, and the complexities beneath what we wear.
